The Huntington Beach, CA Sensation Joins with the L.A. Cult Hero to Serve Up Another Beach-Ready Slice of Ear Candy
An endless font of hooks and a sophisticated songwriter, 20-year-old Yung Pinch is a star in the making. Sharing his latest dose of weekly ear candy, Pinch releases “She Don’t Want To Wake Up,” his new single. Shared as the final track in his #4EVERFRIDAY SZN 2 series of singles, finds Pinch teaming up with fellow melodic mastermind 03 Greedo. Displaying an easy chemistry despite their disparate backgrounds, Pinch and Greedo trade bars about their lives as lotharios, gently crooning about how to make sure a one-night-stand remains a one-night-stand. The latest in a series of acclaimed and popular loosies, “She Don’t Want to Wake Up” follows “The Navy,” a collaboration with Zaytoven recorded as part of a Red Bull documentary on the producer. Earlier, Pinch collaborated with Carnage for “Bed Bugs,” alongside Takeoff and Nessly, and shared his own infectious “20 Years Later” single.
Constantly dropping treats for his fans, California’s Yung Pinch showcases his prodigious talent on a weekly basis with #4EVERFRIDAY. The “Bluntington Beach” native seems to improve with each release, including “Sail Away,” with the wavy HYPEBEAST-premiered video, “Smoke & Drive,” which samples Weezer’s “Island In The Sun” and features appearances from fellow Cali hitmakers blackbear and P-Lo, and the YG-featuring “Big Checks.” Most recently, Pinch shared the awestruck and infectious “20 Years Later,” and the video for “1997,” a black-and-white retrospective of his wildly successful All 4 The Love Tour, which ended last month in Honolulu after selling out 13 dates, including in far-from-home locales such as Dallas, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Toronto.
